To ensure the safety of blood donation for donors and recipients, all volunteer blood donors must be evaluated to determine their eligibility to give blood. The final determination will be made on the day of the donation at the blood drive or blood donation center. If you were deferred from donating in the past, you may be able to donate again. It differ the eligibility for male & female. But here we explain the common requirement for both.
Age:17 year is the standard ratio but 16 year people can also donate (it has some law restriction by country)
Weight: At least 110 pounds or 50kg (it is very to age or condition)
Health: General good health (means you feel normal, healthy & can do normal activities)
Blood Pressure: Normal blood pressure that means below 120 over 80 (120/80)
Mind set: You have to set up your mind, yes I can do this.
Note: please do not donate if any of the following apply to you AIDS, Cancer, Hepatitis, Organ Failure, Recreational Drug Use
